September 14, 2023

In Guatemala, loan service professionals like Wilmer Loayes and Luis Loarca are introducing innovative tools and investments that provide loans more efficiently through the Federación Nacional de Cooperativas de Ahorro y Crédito (MICOOPE). Counterpart, through our USDA-funded Food for Progress program, works in collaboration with MICOOPE, who are playing a pivotal role in promoting healthy financial practices within rural Guatemalan communities.
